Trial helicopter flying lessons
Skyrunner Aviation offers 20, 30, or 60 minute trial lessons and half day introductory courses from our base at Binham Aerodrome in North Norfolk. The trial lessons and half day courses both count towards the 45 hour EASA PPL(H) and are ideal if you have not flown in a helicopter before and want to experience the exhilaration of helicopter flight.
If you are interested in gaining your EASA PPL(H), then the half day introductory course is for you. With two hours of flying and accompanying pre and post flight briefings, it is a great introduction to the course or a fantastic gift.
This includes a pre-flight briefing on basic helicopter procedures and aircraft controls, pre-flight inspection, plus start-up and shut-down procedures. Whilst in the air, you will be instructed in level flight, turns, power changes and a short introduction to hovering, under your instructor’s tuition.
